Nancy Engel is a life-long follower of Jesus. Nancy has been a worship leader and musician much of her life. She enjoys creative journaling, teaching and sharing the goodness of God with others. Nancy has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. An unexpected cancer journey prompted Nancy and Kendall to engage in conversations about this journey of faith in light of our hope of heaven. Nancy is happily married to her husband, Jerry, whom she met while working on summer staff at Black Rock Retreat. Years later Nancy returned to Black Rock Retreat as a program director. This is also where Nancy and Kendall met and while working together, they enjoyed writing and recording radio ads promoting various programs. In her position at Black Rock Retreat, Nancy developed a Silent Sanctuary Retreat and also directed other retreat programs. Nancy is co-host of A Life That Lasts and brings a perspective of one who is living with a life-altering diagnosis with peace.
